Arusha Club Saccos founded by a group of business people who strive to bridge the gap of affordable, quality and accessible financial services for the society. Founded in year 2005 after obtaining the certificate of registration number AR 446. The ide of forming the SACCOS came when the community found that there are difficulties on accessing loans from Banks due to terms and conditions that excludes most society members.

The objective of the society was to create a vehicle to promote a savings culture among the society and to lend out short term micro loans to the members for business and consumer needs.

Over the years the society has groen from strength to strength to become a commercially autonomous, democratically controlled and self-reliant business enterprise. This is due to the support received from our members and other stakeholders at large. Initially the SACCOs was concentrated with the mid-sized business people in the society. The SACCOS expanded its outreach from midsized business in the society to small income earners from pet traders to small holder farmers in the rural communities. It aimed in increasing access to formal financial services by rural society who are small holer farmers.
